Good day my name is Kyle, I am a support worker and currently finishing my schooling to become an addictions counsellor. Before starting this journey I was battling with depression and trying to drown my demons. I tried to put all my energy into my trades work and the result was crippling anxiety; always worrying about the future and needing another coping mechanism. Instead, I learned what a happy, joyous and free life was through the 12 steps and walking the red road with my brothers and sisters in recovery.
Through the native teachings and spiritual connection to Mother Earth I found peace. Having found a life worth living sober I began to share the message of hope with others. While helping others recover from their battle with addiction I knew that this was my purpose.
At Red Road Recovery our team has not only lived through the darkness but we’ve come through the other side and can show you how to light the path to recovery. I believe if you can bring the willingness we can bring the tools to help you recover.
