My name is Shannon Cahill and I’m honoured to be Red Road's in house yogi. I am currently certified with Yoga International in Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Meditation Coaching as well breath work and counselling. Outside of Red Road I am a masseuse, a chronic pain and chronic disease life coach with PainBC.org as well as Wife, farmer, and homeschooling Mother. The reason I am so passionate about what I do is because I’ve walked a road of chronic pain, disease, loss, addiction and recovery. I have experienced what it is like to not want the body and life I’ve been given. To numb myself everyday from the pain and suffering. It took me almost losing everything to start my journey back to mental and physical well-being and the reason I teach and practice what I do is because these modalities helped me the most and continue to keep me on my path as I still suffer everyday with chronic disease and pain. Having and teaching a daily practice of gratitude through yoga and meditation keeps me going one day at a time and helping others do the same keeps the flame alive.
