Hello, my name is Shelley Kiefiuk and I am the Program Director at Red Road Ranch.
I am eager to use my knowledge and skills in the areas of strategic planning, human resource management and mentoring, project development and management, property management, addictions and mental health, and diversity and inclusion towards creating a beautiful place of tranquility, safety and healing for not only individuals seeking change and freedom from their addictions, but staff as well.
I have 14 years' experience in the Non-Profit sector working with community members who were houseless and/or struggling with their mental health and addictions. Assisting individuals through all Six Stages of Change, I developed programs from street level outreach to homeless shelter services, supportive housing, transitional housing and eventually into independent affordable housing.
I have seen three immediate family members through the darkness of addiction and into the light of recovery. That journey gave me completely new insight and understanding of the long-lasting effects of trauma. Seeing things through a familial lens reinforced my desire to advocate for and develop sober supportive housing where individuals can enjoy the sense of community, connection, and belonging that is imperative for true healing and personal growth regardless of their past or present experiences. Sharing the personal lessons I have learned with others who are supporting their own family members along their journey to wellness is extremely meaningful to me.
-Everyone is somebody’s someone.
